Visit from Aunt Keira and Cousin Brittney - April 2008

My sister Keira and my neice Brittney came up from Georgia to visit. We went to the Keenland Race track for breakfast with the Horses (bi-annual family tradition); we also went to the Kentucky Horse Park, Keira and Britt went horseback riding and the kids went pony riding.

Easter Egg Hunt 2008

We went on an Easter Egg hunt and it was FREEZING! The kids loved it and had a chance to give the Easter Bunny a BIG Hug!

Our March 2008 Snow Storm

Here is our March 2008 Snow Storm. Cameron and Annalise couldn't wait to get out and play in the snow... Neither could I; so we went and had an Awesome time!! Mommy was too Sick to play so she took pictures from inside.

Christmas 2007

We spent Christmas with both sides of the family in Georgia. Pictures are of the kids in their Christmas jammies and our traditional Christmas Kiss in front of the Christmas Tree. We had Christmas dinner at the Kolvig family house. Holly put together the menu for the dinner. She planned to do a turduckin (first one). After her dad spent the evening de-boning all the birds, Holly couldn't handle the smell of the poultry "due to morning sickness". I ended up having to stuff and sew each layer of the bird. ...But like National Lampoons Christmas Vacation things did not go as planned and the roaster did not cook the turduckin after 6 hours. Still being raw and a hungry crew to feed, three generations of men (me, my dad and grandfather) decided to do it southern style. We took all the birds apart and fried them individually. It turned out great and the food was all done in time.

Trip to see Great Grandparents in Safford AZ - Dec 2007

We went on a special trip for Cameron and Annalise to meet their great Grandparents. We went to visit Jean and Irvin Taylor in Safford, AZ where Holly's mother grew up. Holly cherished the trip as these are her favorite grandparents and is very close to them. Grandma and Grandpa sure enjoyed the visit and visiting with the Great Grand Children. The children climbed on Grandma's windmill and playing in the backyard with the same toys Holly played with at their age.
